Reintegration Work
Children want to have healthy, loving relationships with both of their parents if at all possible. Often, separation or divorce takes a toll on these connections. When children resist and/or refuse contact with one parent there are many reasons for this dynamic. These ruptures do not happen overnight or in an isolated bubble. It takes the entire family system to heal these issues. I ask that each parent and child(ren) have independent therapists to navigate the healing process. Most importantly it is to critical have patience as we move through reintergration. Progressing at a child’s pace is important to healing.
